Addictive!
It's an original twist on a cliched game, and the gameplay mechanisms work well.
However, I'm stuck on the 2nd hole of the golf set - can someone please help me?

Best game EVER!
I've never played another game on Newgrounds as good as this. It is simply the best. Great graphics, great gameplay, great sound, great animation, everything!
Only problem I had was the downloadable version. I downloaded it, unzipped it all, and clicked on the madness.exe. A black screen came up with the words "Loading preferneces" (I assume it means preferences). And nothing happens. Please help me someone!
Fancy sonic adventures?
I'll start off by saying what an amazing game this is... every single thing was perfect, from the graphics to the way you control fancy pants. The level designs awesome too, and original. I like the cameo levels!
The only small problem I had was that at times it was a bit too similar to sonic. It sometimes seemed that you took great sonic bits, made them 'fancy' and put them in, an example of this being the springs, or the rails that you can grab.
But this is only a small thing, and does nothing to take away from the rest of this breathtaking game.
At times, maybe, but I don't really understand why people say that it feels like a Sonic clone... last I check Sonic starts running really really slowly, Sonic has bumpers, not really springs... really I just think that there's so much in it, and only so much you can do with a standard platformer without using too much super advanced code...
Great!
I've played quite a few games similar to this, but this is probably one of the best. I like the fact that you have to buy stock, ajust the recipe etc. before each level, so you really have to think about what you're doing, you can't just change something mid-level (except for price).
Hints for beginners: Make sure you have lots of cups and coffee. You get through these very fast.
At the beginning, lower the prive and inprove the recipe to get good reputation. Then you can raise the price.
lol, this is like my game!
It's almost exactly like my game, but with different levels.
Anyways, I quite like it, although it's a bit too hard - maybe you should have some easier levels at the beginning. The buttons could be inproved, and you could include a different cursor to make it look cool. Also the grey background is a bit boring - some colours would look nice, or you could make the grey look shiny like metal. But it's by no means a bad game, keep it up!
ok, but very confusing...
And some of it was plain wrong. Although if you want to, you can make a picture into a movieclip, then make it into a button, but you don't have to, you can make a picture into a button straight away and it'll work. Also a lot of the stuff is very out of date. You should have explained Actionscripting on buttons more, you didn't really explain what to write, just saying 'experiment' doesn't help, do you expect people to try thouisands of random codes until one works?
Good while it worked
But it broke on level 4. It's a bit odd that the parcels move in the opposite x direction to chompy, was this intentional? It's not very good because it means all you have to do is move chompy towards the parcel and the parcel will come towards you. Also you should hide the mouse, you can do this by putting the actionscript Mouse.hide(); in the first frame.
Nice!
I like it, it's well made and fun to play. You should say what the tiles do though - i didn't know that the black and white tiles were checkpoints, or that you can't control your ball on yellow tiles. Also it's very difficult - maybe have some easierlevels at the beggining?
fun, but repetitive
it's good for the first few minutes, but then it gets borin. Needs more diversity in levels to make it better. Also I noticed that a lot of people on the highscore tables got like 1,000,000,000 or something. WTF? how is that possible?
good but confusing
It's got some useful infomation, but it can be very confusing and unclear what to do at times. Examples are:
- In the hitPoints tut, it doesn't tell you how you can make the little character move, as in the example; it doesn't say what script you need to do that, it just says about the hitPoint script.
- In the Variables tut, it doesn't say how to show the variable, as in the example.
If yoiu could tell me how to do those things, I would be (slightly) less confused.
Thnx!
